Natasha Trethewey

Natasha Trethewey (Gulfport, Misisipi, 1966) ha publicado tres colecciones de poemas: Domestic Work en 2000 (Cave Canem Poetry Prize de 1999, Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters Book Prize de 2001 y Lillian Smith Award for Poetry de 2001), Bellocq’s Ophelia en 2002 (Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters Book Prize de 2003 y American Library Association Notable Book de 2003) y Native Guard en 2006 (Pulitzer Prize in Poetry de 2007), su primer libro traducido y publicado en España en la colección Bartleby Poesía. Ha recibido las prestigiosas becas de las Fundaciones Guggenheim y Rockefeller, la Bunting Fellowship Program of the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study de la Universidad de Harvard, el National Endowment for the Arts, así como el Mississippi Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts for Poetry de 2008.
